Recess is the brainchild of long time friends, Fisayo Esconsay and Brandon Howard. As college roommates, the pair created a name for themselves producing and promoting parties in D.C. With the help of design duo, Brian Miller (lead designer on D.C. hot spot The Gibson) and Lauren Winter, Recess promises to break the mould and provide an alternative to the bars and nightclubs currently in the area. Given their strong connections to the entertainment community, Recess will be a sanctuary for high profile out-of-towners, D.C. tastemakers and celebrities.
