The weather has been bugging out.  Rain poured for a straight 24 hour period yesterday.  Actually there was a brief time in the late afternoon that the heavens let up, but outside really sucked.  The silver lining in those clouds is that it reminded me of a very hard to find Kelis song that’s perfect for these days.

Rain Rain (it’s actually untitled, I just named it that) was a hidden track on Wanderland, her sophomore album, which was never officially released in the United States.  What????  I know, I know. It would have totally passed me by too, were it not for my brief employment at a second hand CD/record shop.  Someone traded it in, I saw it while stocking the shelf, and it’s been in my collection (several times) since ‘02.  You know, the types of CD that you lend out and end up having to replace yourself…

Entirely produced by The Neptunes, Wanderland gets rotation at least once a month.  Do yourself a favor.
