Lacie Key Drive | itsKey, iamaKey, Passkey

I am a mobile DJ in the true sense of the phrase.  Everything I need to rock a party is conveniently contained in a Bandwidth Northface Bookbag.  In it, one will find - one Macbook Pro, a 250gig External Harddrive, 2 Q-Bert Ortofon needles, a Serato box with control CDs, a pair of Sony MDR- V6 Headphones, a Shure SM58 microphone, and all the necessary wires and accoutrement a Chief-Rocking Soldier requires.  If in the instance I am spinning with another DJ, I’ve found it at times to be less logistically problematic to just bring a Harddrive…

The 8GB flash drive I carry around has proven to be reliable on more than one occassion.  I’ve been able to use it for 4-5 hours with no latency or crash issues.  My only concern is that it is made of hard plastic and may one day crack at an extremely inconvenient time.  Perusing through the pages of cnet.com, I stumbled upon a new set of Lacie key-shaped USB flash drives.  2 of the drives hold 8 Gigs of flash memory (the itsakey and the iamakey), while the other, the Passkey, is both a microSD reader and USB drive.

Considering that the reviewer Dong Ngo called it “the thinnest and toughest flash drive” he had seen, I’m on it.
