Event: The New Classics Tour @ Georgetown Adidas Store 1.22.09
I first caught wind of Shaman Work Recordings in 2004 through my roommate Kristen. As a manager of a popular used CD store, she was able to introduce our gang to many great artists and albums, which ended up on repeat in the smoked-filled living room of the “Real World House”. One particular artist who received his fair share of spins in our jukebox was Wale Oyejide.
Since that time, Shaman Work has added a considerable amount of talent to its roster - DJ 2Tone Jones (one of the nicest people you will ever meet and vinyl fanatic), John Robinson aka Lil Sci, and Blackberry Jones (shout to the Black Lincolns) just to name a few.
This Thursday, to celebrate a year of new beginnings (new President, new money $$$, and a new Shaman Work website) the SW crew will be in full effect at the Georgetown Adidas Store. See below for details…
